Welcome to art@AT, the ANZATA Virtual Gallery. As art therapy practitioners we know the vital importance of engaging with one’s own art pratice for both personal and professional growth. Art@AT offers an exciting new way to share this aspect of ourselves as artists and arts therapists.

There will be a number of temporary shows each year. These shows may take a number of different forms. Members and other arts therapists will be invited to submit a body of work of their own, or of their clients (with consent). All works in this gallery will have in common a therapeutic intention.

There is also a permanent collection of works that are particularly outstanding examples of the powerful intersection of art and therapy. This collection will be added to continuously and will become a extremely valuable and inspiring visual resource for Australasian Art Therapists and for anyone else visiting this site.

  • The Power of Creating (12 photos)

Tanmayo – a retrospective, 1970 to 2010. Tanmayo experiments with space and colour. The process of her expression is as important to her as the final product. Tanmayo seeks to bring order out of chaos which she equates as synonymous to life itself. The importance of Tanmayo’s art is sustained by contemplation of its singularity, intelligence and feeling.
