Art Therapy in Southeast Asia is a new and developing field. At LASALLE, the Art Therapy Programme is multi-culturally driven and includes the integration of eastern and other international behavioral norms.
Reporting to the Head, School of Integrated Studies and working closely with the Programme Leader of Art Therapy, you will be predominantly responsible for teaching full-time Masters degree art therapy students in a variety of the modules including the use of tutorials, workshops, seminars and lectures. As Lecturer, you are also required to do marking, grading assignments and ensuring that all students meet the relevant course assessment criteria; meet and supervise students and assist with clinical placement coordination and development; assist with recruiting and supervising the part-time Lecturers in specific clusters of modules; undertake research and professional practice in Art Therapy for the Programme and for personal self-development; and all programme administration.
Qualifications:
• MA in Art Therapy with 5 years experience in clinical practice, teaching, students supervision, or international credentials (ATR-BC preferred)
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of at least one specific cluster of modules (Clinical Supervision, Group Training, Introduction to Theory and Practice of Art Therapy, Child, Adolescent and/or Adult, Geriatric and Family Art Therapy, Internship Coordination or Research)
• Possess excellent creative, communication, organisational and team working skills
